Did I spell that right? Anyway, I've seen a lot of pictures with this stuff, and I was wondering what it is, I want to give it a try and see if I can put anything decent out.

Its a traditional painting material, like he said above, opaque water color (you dont need to add water or oil to it, you just paint right away.)
-Its cheap and usualy the kind of paint you use when you are a little kid.
-It dry fast and easy to use.
-Still it can do interesting result, but if you wanna paint traditionnaly your better use oil or acrelic paint.

You learn and get better at each draw you do. So persevere and one day you will draw like dhabih.

It's also what almost every animation studio uses to paint backgrounds. It's quick and powerful, if used in the right hands. |

i dunno about guouche being the kind of paint kids use, i used tempera when i was little...guache is a bit different. paint is good. good for you. its behaviour is a bit different from watercolour in some ways... you would have to use it to feel it though. a lot of animation shops use cell vinyl as well for bg's, it really is just smoove acrylic paint. water based stuff. dries faster...right? or you can mix alkyds with your oils top dry them faster i think.... |
