hi, did these 2 sketches last week, no certain project. were working on a game playing in the realistic middleage, so theres no opportunity to design monsters and stuff.

Those are pretty cool ideas. A bit odd, but cool nonetheless I like your stippled transperency shading on the second one.

Very nice style. Imagination is always good, even if the subjects are a bit weird :].

Moin Xoco,
geniale Teile.

hi xoxco
strange ideas but very cool
the upper one reminds me a bit
of some comicsketches(colorkamikaze) of ,,wonabc''
although his sketches are even stranger

those spots on the second creature, did you actually dot each one individually or did you have your brush set to space out like that and size dependent on pressure?

heck, i'm gonna give it a go.

i've had those spots on my mind since yesterday. :P i gotta use it!!!

wow, thank yall for the nice comments!
dude: youre right, these are rendered with copic-markers, the warm grey tones, then added a few higlights and backgrounds in photoshop
silber: i bought colourkamikaze and wons imagination is really incredible! we had an exhibition together with about 100 comic artists back in 97 in hamburg. i met him there and saw the first pages for colourkamikaze and was so impressed. it took him another 3 years to find a publisher who appreciates his weird stuff but it was worth waiting for it!
nil:i will answer your mail as soon as possible, saw your sketch, im waiting for the finished version. congrats to your new home, i think altona is the best place to live in hamburg.

aprilysh: the creature itself is made with markers so i had to do the dots each one individually. very contemplative : ).
