This is my first try of drawing Spawn. I�ve done it "mouse-only", since my Wacom is pretty fucked up...*damn*
I tried not to use too many colours.
Its not yet finished, and his cape is still missing, but I just wanted to hear your opinion about it...

Well, for a mouse only its pretty commendable. The art in itself is quite good, though if you hadnt told me it was in fact spawn, Id not have known. Perhaps the cape and/or that white symbol emblazoned across his face would make a difference?

Looks like a skull with green eyes. Kinda hard to see where you are going with this. Are you going to paint it or are you going to leave it linework? If you are going for the traditional comic linework style then you need to add much more detail to give it form. What you have now is a good outline.
You do realize that Spawn does have flesh right? |
