Hi guys.

This may seem odd but I have an assignment for my life drawing class which requires what I stated above

. Obviously I would LOVE to draw from a live model instead but time/accessibility constraints would make it rather unfeasible.

The images would have to be well lit, with good anatomy definition. Foreshortening is a must as well. The media is charcoal so color isn't necessary.

I'm not too familiar with nude photography so I'm not sure where to begin. I'll browse the web while I wait for a reply but any good book recommendations would accelerate the proccess

Ah, thats a terrific site, but I forgot to mention in my original post that I will need offline resources. Books and magazines and such. My printer ain't the best and finding large hi-res print quality images on the net would be a chore anyhow.

Hopefully our pitiful local bookstore will have something

Look for books by Robert Mapplethorpe. Probably the best nude photographer I've seen. Granted, I haven't seen that many. But still. He's good.
