I concentrated on the colorwork in this portrait so the propotions turned out abit twisted. I dont know how to fix the top o the head though. Looks like a pingpongball! =/
And I dont want to make bald people all the time! how should I make the hair? Block it in from the start or apply it afterwards using a small brush? Any tips? Danny hairman?

What I do is block in the basic shape first, no detail, just basically a big blob in the general shape you want the hair to be in. Then start working away at it, molding it into the right shape with eraser and paintbrush, then go in and begin detailing it. How clearly defined you want each strand to be is up to you. |

Hey Simon, his scalp looks fine to me.. Cool looking picture btw. You do seem to have a thing for bald heads don't you..
My advice to you is to practice on the eyebrows you've blocked in there. See how you get along drawing hairs within this particular image.
As for the rest, I suggest you block it in. Either completely, or small bits first before you start detailing. Making sure you're getting the general shapes correct. Then start splitting it up into finer locks and strands...
good luck..
