This is some stuff I did about a year ago for a tabletennis supplier. This was the first lineart I colored in Photoshop. I did the linework on paper. The lines appear a little thick and sometimes shaky to me on some, still I like these pieces. Similarities to Dragonball are intentional, since that was what I was ment to go for.
Sorry bout the size, but I really tried to bring down filesize as far as possible without significant loss in detail. Smaller image would kill too much detail IMO...
Please do comment on this, be it crits or whatever.

Franquin was the artist that did Gaston & Marsupilami, right? If that's right I take it as a big compliment, thanks.

Binke: Thanks. Yeah, as I said I was told to do something dragonball/songoku-style. Hope I put in something original though.
Sergenth: Well, yes. The funny thing is I did tons of drawings with ballpen on hmmm, how do you say that....gridded paper? If at least the grid or the drawing was blue I could easily get rid of the grid, but with both being black it's hard. I guess I just have to draw some more in fine quality on fine quality media. Gotta put that new wacom to use... |

Hmmmm. Dhabih? Relating to this forum-splitup-thread some days ago: Is there a possibility to get info about views and not only replies on a thread? Feels a little sad to see all those threads drop off the page with 1 to 5 replies. You never know if people missed it or simply didn't want to comment on it. And I don't wanna be the idiot (well, right now i am, i guess )trying to get some feedback when people already saw it and ignored it.
Does anybody know if this is possible? Would probably stop a lot of those annoying thread-reboosts like this...
*No, no, don't....not in the face..Ouch!* |
