this isnt really the place but maybe some artists out here are computer shaby hehe ... well ok i can run my webpage from home no prob but how do i assing a domain name to my ip??? is it possible to do it from your own computer without spending money one of those companies....
i sure im able to since its possible to run a page on your personal computer.... i just nned to assign a domain name to my ip.... hope some one can help me.... ]

You can't do that yourself. You have to go somewhere like www.networksolutions.com and register the domain name for something like $100 USD.

Your way off man, first off, you have to have a static IP, that's an IP that never changes.

Second, why your even doing this doesnt make sense because you can just go get free webspace in like 5 mins and start posting pics.
