I think I got a little bit of everyone on this. I thought it up looking at Jen's last sketch. I kinda borrowed a little of Rinaldo's style (I think). Kinda concept-ish a la Vortx. And well the goblin idea came from Micke and Poxen. Ok, so not everyone.. but alot.
By the way I'm going to ink this and color sometime tomorrow hopefully. |

Believe it or not.. the axe thingy is what started the pic. I was looking at your helmet too long.. hehe. But I drew this to close to the edge of the page so I had to fit in. I'll fix it in PS. |

Hey Chapel good to see some new drawing
Looks like you're on the right track, just keep on at it. Things like seperating the hands and other forms in the foreshortening may help give it depth. If this doesn't make sense then I'll do a scribble. the hands could also do with some knucles.
Cool character |

Thanks for the replies. I didn't notice the resemblance to that Dragon Ball character till now. I was thinking more along the lines of the game Warcraft.
Rinaldo - sure, sketch em out. I have trouble with hands.
AprilYSH - don't know about the slides. I'm going to ink the whole thing at work if I can. I'll maybe put up a side by side comparison though. By the way.. since i did the pencils.. the inking isn't going to be much different. |

The handle of the axe seems to be a bit thick... it would be very hard to hold unless you had abnormally huge hands (which this guy doesn't seem to have.) It also looks like his left hand is sinking into the wood. Otherwise, I like it a lot. (And I like the smaller axe head, it just looks odd with the handle as it is now.) |

That makes sense. I'm probably going to just stylize it a little more and make the handle thinner. |

Well here is the uh.. finished result. Coloring is still something I'm working on.
I know the background isn't spectacular but its better than white.
