look for a book called Drawing Dynamic Comics by Andy Smith, he has an excellent section on these basic shapes. And here is my shameless plug

Also any book by Burne Hogarth, and I was very fond of How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way from Klutz Press.

I just look at myself or my bf.. or even others on the bus..

practice makes perfect... you just have to keep trying even tho its stupid at first.. and get others to tell you what you need to work on

a nose and hands , anyone knows a good reference pic/site for it ?Cause most of the dudes here hide the hands , and the nose is always seen from the front , but what when it comes from the side ?

oh and someting else , I have no problem drwawing etc... just my scales don't always fit , I mean , sometimes my head is to big etc ... I know you guys use somekind of basic shapes and draw them first , and the go over em to draw the real things , can someone show me a pic of just that "wireframe" kinda thing , I know you draw it in 5 sec , but I just need to know
