lo all.
Well i would like some help with this sketch if you dont mind helping...firstly, does it look any good?

SECCONDLY, i would like this guy to have swords in both hands. bacause of the way he's facing, its REALLY hard to draw swords that look good - coming up facing the screen, so if anyone could do a rough sketch of where they should go and post it here, that would be great!

Thanks

Mat...

Most of the problems I'm seeing in the drawing could be rectified through reading a few books. Specificaly "Drawing on the Right side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards, and a good anatomy book. You are having problems with perception, get DOTRSB and go through the lessons (they are based around a 5 day workshop so it shouldn't take you all that long). It will dramaticaly improve your drawing I would suspect. Then if you want to learn the specifics of what you are drawing then an antomy book will be much easier to read. I suspect that even if you did know correct anotomy to perfection you would still be drawing "incorectly" becuase you're perception of edges and spaces is poor.

If this sounds harsh then I don't know what to say. It will really help, I can almost promise
