Another quick painting... I think I might mess around with some custom brushes and some opacity to create a more 'painty' or 'watercolory' feel in the future. Or if none of the above, at least something different.. hehe

_THAT_ is solid. Very moody...great sense of height from those walls...

it looks more like theres a big party going on inside that castle with fireworks and those barbarians are trying to get in on the action :]
theres a nice sense of action going on in here, only i dont like how there is a very low amount of brush detail especially in the walls

LOL!
Perhaps if we built a large wooden badger...
*THUNK!*
Thanks guys for the feedback!
I think after looking at it again (aside from more detail on the walls which I agree with) is more gradual steps with values. The sharper the leap from value to value the more phony it seems to appear in photoshop. Live and learn

That looks great! I absolutely love the lighting and the mood it evokes. The compostion is good too. Your really get the feeling of the immenent doom the Barbarians are about to face. Nice job. Reminds me a lot of the artwork they had in Warcraft Adventures (the blizzard game that got axed) Keep up the good work!

very nice. It's quite comic-bookish, or more animation I should say. Very simplistic shapes that come together well. I especialy like the flame, it's got a very nice form.
You is getting much good |

Thanks again guys.
I really dig this tablet. With the control of it and not havin' to worry about drying or cleanup, the paintings flow really fast.
Ugh.. if I sounded like a commercial, forgive me.. heh
