this is for the Liquid 2k contest. This is a completely different style that I am experimenting with. Right now I am half done. Comments, suggestions, and any critism wouldbe helpful.

Hm ill only comment on the coloring, and leave the rest to the Jedi Council of this board heh. I think it needs more shadows, the cutts look pretty ok so far, but you only got base color & highlights on, it needs some shadow for depth. And thicker outlines.

working on your line quality would really improve this picture and give it more depth. try the following two things:

1) use thicker lines on parts of the figure that are closer to the viewer. definitely use this on the hand and the spray can, it will make these parts really pop out at the viewer.

2) use slightly thicker lines on the bottom parts of objects. ie. the soles of the shoes should have slightly thicker lines than the tops of the shoes. and also, the shoes in general should have slightly thicker lines than the head. this gives a nice feeling of gravity to the picture, if used carefully.
