This is sort of in response to one of Rinaldo's excellent images posted in another thread. Watercolor is probably my favorite traditional medium, and I wanted to see if anyone here has any watercolor work? Please post!
I'm posting a travel sketch I did a few years ago on a study abroad program to start. Nothing really earth shattering, but it happened to be convenient.
Also, please check out this guy - he does some great work in watercolor as well as other media.

I hear ya Francis.
I absolutly love watercolour.
This is a little something I was going to post in a new topic but this is probably a better place for it.
I'm a big fan of David Mack (kabuki anyone?)
So this is my mack tribute
after the positive feed back to the pic in the other thread I started thinking and remembering how much I used to like doing this sort of stuff, so plan to do more watercolour in the future.
Anyway enjoy

I've always had difficulty with watercolors. My art teacher always tried to get me to use them so I wouldn't have too much trouble moving on to oils... but I always just gave up instead, too frustrating! |

Wow, very nice work, both of you. Rinaldo, did that girl have a run in with a raptor or something?
Some of my favorite watercolored comics are the Havok and Wolverine Meltdown mini-series. They were painted by John Muth and Kent Williams. Awesome stuff.

Great stuff you guys.....I lurk a lot here....Dont post very much but feel I have something to post to this topic....
First one is a spawn pic that I penciled, inked and then layed down the watercoler on top...
The second one is of a clown/comedy act named Ray Wold...He was a very inspiring person to me..There are lots I dont like about this one...I whipped it out pretty quick. I should have spent more time with this one...
Anyways take a look and tell me what you think. Thanks
Jason

Oh... watercoloured comic art.
I remember not knowing that comics were coloured with computers. The closest thing I could find was watercoulour
This is something from a year or so back. ...just for fun
I've improved a lot since then but I always kinda liked this one.
Enjoy
