This is a friend of mine with his special lady. Questions, comments, cares or concerns? feedback is most welcome.

Hard to say anything about this one without the reference ( I guess you drew it from a photo).
What strikes me first is that all the small details seem to be missing. shadows around the nose, eyes, refelctions in the glasses ...
I think you could try to just draw what you see and not what you think you see or what you "know". It will look much more lifelike then.
Hope this helps

The first thing that strikes me are the eyes: they seem too small or too far apart - try making them around one eye width apart.
Your picture is looking impressive though, keep working on it.

Thanks for the feedback. I found it hard to do this girl's forehead. I didn't know how to do the freckles. Maybe I should have used a texture?
Oh and smooth transitions from shade to shade are hard for me. Any tips? I usually use a soft brush at 15-30 opacity

The head of the guy in photo is a bit tilted towards his left shoulder, but in your pic it's vertical, I wonder if this has caused any extra problems..
The guy is recognisable from the pic, but the girl is fortunately a lot more beautiful in photo Especially her nose is cute, perhaps you could improve that area, though I know it will be difficult, probably couldn't make any better myself, but sometimes it helps just to mess around and see if it gets better or worse..
keep up the good work |

LOL, that is exactly what I thought, except replace "cool" with "strange". |
