Here's the deal. Some band wants me to make a logo for them, replacing the words of a beer label with others. But I need to find fonts similar to each one. Could you all please see if you know what any of these fonts are?

1.

2.

3.

4.

Thanks a LOT for any help you can provide.

Man, of all the fonts they have on those 2 sites (Fontpool didn't work), not one looks even remotely similar to any of the 4 I posted above. That sucks. Thanks for the help though.

If you're sufficiently motivated, you could call the beer company and find out who designed their logo.

Could be they also have an internal design/ad department.

It might save you a lot of trouble and the evilness of suffering a font editor

Well, I wasn't able to find the fonts... But I have another question. How do you make a thick outline on letters? Adobe has an outline option, but that's only a 1-pixel outline, and I want them thicker. I can't think of any way to do it.

Thanks man. I figured out another way to do it, but it comes out a little sloppy. Just add the text, go to Edit, then Stroke. Choose Center, and type in the number of pixels you want the outline to be. You'll have an outline on the text in whatever the foreground color is.

what i do for things like this would select all the text..
choose the move tool,
move it a little to get the outline perfectly around the text
select / modify /border

and set it to how big i want it.

You can create a thicker outline first by making the letters as big as you want the outline to be. Then render the layer. Cntrl-click the type layer to select it, then go to Modify....then contract. Select the number of pixels you want your outline to have (up to 16). This will contract the "marching ants" line on your type by the number of pixels you selected. then just fill with whatever color you want.
