Hi BooM
Great style as usual...
The abdominal region seems a bit long,
compared to the torso, but I don't know if that's on purpose?
As you usually have a good sence of proportion...

I like it boomstick ! nice style.
comment, I have a bit problems to identify the "muscles" on the lower part of the stumach...but the body exaggeration is really nice...
it will become a really cool businesscard
ps! what are you selling ? do you work freelance ?

Yeah I like the concept as well. And, as the others have said, the abs bother me. The elongated torso might not disturb me if there wasn't so many actual ab muscles showing.
And yes I saw American Pyscho,
*sweat rolls down Salty's forehead......."Brilliant, Ivory stock, raised Helvetica 10 pt. Simple genius..He must die"* |

Thanks for taking a peek...
Yes! The elongated torso was done on purpose. The card is shown here in about twice printsize for viewing purposes...
Ko: thanks man. I usually do have a good sense on proportion? Does this one make you think twize about that? heh!....just kidding, glad you like it!
Joachim: thanks man. I appreciate it... You know - when I do pieces like this (which I enjoy very much) I don't really bother too much if a muscle is correct or incorrect. If it looks good to me and 'fit' I'll keep it. The feel to a drawing like this is more important than scientific precision.
And yes i do freelance work...ranging from 3d modelling/texture/animation to traditional illustration, but since I just quit a games studio I might add that I try to fucus on illustraion/painting right now...
Faustgfx: cool..
Faust: thanks. I appreciate it. And no - I haven't seen the movie yet..It has yet to be released over here in europe...But I read the book a couple of times, though.
Saltydog: Thanks. And as for you problem with the torso see the reply to Joachim...
Again, thanks for looking...

Boomstick,
I hope you didn't get me wrong. As micke thinks, I also think you have a great style and some excellent drawings.
The muscle thing, is not an important issue at all. But, just so you don't get me wrong, I don't think you need to indicate the anatomy more, it's not the kind of style that expect precise indications of muscles...just that I thought it was a "bit" messy on the lower stumach (not wrong). But, like I said, not important and the drawing is great. . .
hmmm, I'm mumbling..sorry!
But, for what I actually was going to say , it really reminds me of a rendered character a friend of mine did. . Sorry I don't have a better picture of it, because the shape is actually really similar..just wanted to show it to you.

Joachim: I wasn't offended or anything and I know you meant well. Having guys like you and micke likeing my work makes me really proud. And yes I do see some likeness to the rendered pic your friend did. Its really nice, I like it alot! It was done in 3d you say? very nice.
