Ok I tried to colour a sketch from http://www.freespeech.org/darkpathimages/kyrisgallery.htm
The following is what I ended up with:

Any comments are welcome.. my first attempt at any real digital art with airbrush colouring.

Looks cool, just needs to be shaded. I think a bright white light (hey, that rhymes!) coming from directly above his head, similar to Dhab's "Broken", would look great.

Hi aciddrone =)
wow imagine my suprises to click on your thread and see one of my sketches coloured =O! hehe, I like the shaded horns, looks cool. Not sure about the orange colour but looks ok, just needs to be shaded. Looking at the horns it doesn't look like your going for the anime style.. maybe try picking the same colour or variation, use a feathered brush on a low opacity and set it to multiply for the darker shades, screen for the lighter (but that dulls it out a bit) and colour dodge for some tints. Try blend in the shading using the cloning tool, and then smudge tool for getting the detail sharper. I hope that helps you, its not an amazing method but should help for beginners.

p.s. I was just wondering if you got it straight from the darkpath site or if you found it somewhere else? Thanks =)

Thanks for the help, the orange is actually shaded its only light to see but if you look closley enough its got different tints of orange on it.

Cos, yeah I did get it from the actual site, Immigrant over at 3dp refered me there to find some lineart/sketches to practice colouring on.
