Well, haven't been around here as much as before lately, but i've gotten into art center's transportation design program- so yay! just waiting on word for scholarship- way too anxious.
i've just been working on really pushing my interior design side lately, since i have always neglected them. so here's my first project on interiors, which was extremely fun. the renderings were fairly quick- i was just trying to pump out some quick ideas.
so, interiors for a roadster. Sporty, yet elegent and futuristic. I did not use an actual exterior design as inspiration, but rather just wanted the limitations of a roadster- 2 seats, sporty, etc. I also was not too anal about proportion, and tried to pay fair attention to both design, and proportion as i went along. Perhaps i should have tried harder toward p roportion, as some t hings are really off.
some marker, pencil, and chalk renderings:
digitals

Congrats on getting in, your work looks good here I like the orange/blue color render the most. You're right about the proportions, in that it looks like you'd need some pretty long legs and arms to reach the controls in a few of these.
On the other hand, it's fairly futuristic looking, so maybe they auto slide forward once the passenger has mounted... you could say. |

thanks you two.
fall> yeah- it was definitely a hassle trying to get it all right. so i decided not to worry about the proportion too much- as it always seems to have an effect design if you're trying to proportion everything out. and yeah , the seats can slide in- or maybe in the future, you have extendable legs. hahah |

Annis, congrats!
The designs are very cool. One thing that bothers me is that sharp steering hook. A bit unsafe :) |

This is the future, man. Human bodies are made of diamond encrusted carbon-fiber composite, and our sweat is an environmentally friendly fuel source. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |
