My name's Stoneface. I'm a graphic designer mostly working on small art for the moment being. I own a design site of my own. I noticed alot of nice art here while browsing google. I'm very interested in speed paintings. Problem is, I don't exactly know where to start. If anyone is open to helping me, I'd gladly appreciate it. |

hi there!
well, if you want to get started with painting digitally i would recommend getting a wacom board (www.wacom.com) and a nice painting application, photoshop/painter/open canvas. |

Thanks for your feedback.
I have experience currently and own photoshop cs2, Illustrator cs3 and cinema4d. I've hear painter is quite nice. As for a tablet, I'll be purchasing a
Intuos3 6x11. It's not really software, it's the process of having a blank canvas, custom brushes and not knowing where to begin. I've seen sketches to be pretty vital, but i've never really learned how to color or really go about the processes of digital painting. I've seen some tutorials, but not any in depth enough to really help me grasp the concept. |
