There was a digital artist who has a section on his site that was called "digital plein air"
I can't seem to find his work.
I want to say it was Ryan Church but I can't seem to find it on his site. |

Sumaleth,
Thanks but no. It was another major artist. The paintings had more of a painterly feel. I believe most of the paintings where completed outside of his work near a school somewhere in California...
That really narrows it down doesn't it. |

Nick Pugh wrote a book called Luminair: Digital plein air painting Techniques. Is that the one you were thinking of? |
Great book - you should look into it anyway. _________________ - Tom Carter
