Hello to everybody!
Heres a painting I did a few weeks ago. It took somewhere around 15 hours to finish and it was a birthday present for a friend.
Critique or any thoughts that this painting might evoke is appreciated
Thank you & happy painting!
edit: Relinking images.

Whoah man... that's a lot to load up, maybe link some of those in-between shots next time?
I think you set up a nice atmosphere, my one big crit is the penguins. I think they look better before the shift to their "finished" state. Next time I would try to preserve that original cartoonish/stylized shape, it looked quite comical but that is lost in the change.
Personally I love the stop sign, you did some cool stuff with that. Keep it up. |

Nice work! I like the 4th from the bottom the best. The juxtaposition of realistic and cartoon is great. _________________ -Anthony

*Bows respectfully deep in gratitude for given feedback*
Thank you for checking out this thread guys. Thats some interesting feedback, which made me look at the finished image through different eyes so to speak.
Now only thing remaining is to see if I can do something with it sometime soon At least the n00b -factor at posting stuff should get a significant decrease next time around.
thx again! |
