Seriously.. I aggree with Annis.

I also stared at it for a long time. I have absolutely no idea what it's about, but there are so many things about it that I love.. technically and emotionally (how lame does that sound) Razz

I think its pretty cool.

Wow, thanks again, you guys really seem to get this one. Maybe not content-wise, but as far as visually and organizationally, I really just wanted sort of a pastiche of ideas and feelings. As for the subject, it's not as random and arbitrary as it probably looks - lot of thought and emotion behind it - whether others can make any sense of it is sort of secondary as it was mainly an outlet for myself, but I'm glad you guys like it. Much thanks

I would also have to agree. There is a warmth, a happy contentment. A dance of the spirit. I love the flame and how you lit with it and the companion cat who seems to share and revel in the boys moment of song sent from above. The eye flows smoothly through out the image and its a great compostition.

I don't know if I've read any of that right but I am left feeling warm and content.

kaber: I'm incredibly flattered and humbled by your comments. As I said earlier, the very fact that you were drawn into it enough to feel anything at all is great. All I want is for people who see my work to feel something, or think about something, or just be in any way provoked or piqued, and then I'm honored. To be honest, the subject isn't really that cheerful, but there's definitely an air of warmth and belonging in the foreground, which was intentional and I'm glad you picked it up. Thanks again for your ideas, it really means a lot to me to hear things like that.

Bob: Hey thanks man glad you've been keeping up. Yeah that "style" of mine won't leave me alone no matter how hard I try. I really just let this one flow though, I guess it's inescapable. Thanks again for the interest, much appreciated.

That's a very surrealistic image. I can imagine a whole story looking at it. The burning cat is wonderful ;D

Freddio you do exist! Good to hear from you again man, thanks very much for the input. The story is probably too complicated to explain in a way that would shed much light on the picture. Suffice it to say I'm lucky to have my art to help me cope with my fuckups and grievances, otherwise I'd probably have lost it by now.

And suffice it also to say that the purring tern has made my life so much more complicated and agonizingly confusing as of late, though I can't quite resist it either.

Sorry for not stopping by as often as I should anymore, but I've been away from home for a while and I'm not spending as much time in front of my pc either. I'll try to knock at your door more often again to check on things. Certainly worth it.
