Hey guys, i sketched this *QUICKLY* earlier, and I thought maybe someone would want to colour it... it isn't anything spectacular, but it might be good practice for someone. Just thought it'd be a nice gesture...

here ya go:

Ok heres my 5 min attempt, I was going for a really quick painterly style, kinda hard for me cause I'm used to traditional media

And this is my contribution to hand pics you can use. Yeah i know the fingers look brocken but if you can fix it go ahead!

wow do those look as bad as I think they do?

Well... I might as well join in
Here's an old hand I drew some time ago...
It's part of a realy big picture I sketched down quickly, but I only got this far. The hand detail is scaled down 70%.
I might actually finish this someday..

.... And here's the sketch...
Original dimensions: 3000x3000 pixels

Great hand Mongoose...

Have you been studying the book "Dynamic Figure Drawing" by Burne Hogarth?

I was going to ask the same question!
Nice book after all. Hogarth is simply incredible. I'm studying Dynamic Anatomy right and Dynamic Figure Drawing right now.. if I think that he drew all those pictures out of his head only.. wow.. amazing!

Hands? I like drawing hands!
so..

The first one was me trying to draw cleaner than usual. Oh well.

Oh yeah, Mongoose, that pic would probably be smaller as a GIF, right now it's 128 k. Then again, this thread is already so full of images it doesn't matter all that much...

Well since we're all posting hands, this is mine (my first post too). I doodled this one while bored at my previous job.

(this is my third try to get the image to work!)
Also, how can I get spacing in between lines if HTML is off?

Mongoose,

I was thinking the same thing as Ko. It looks like you've got a pretty good grip (no pun intended) on Hogarth's anatomy style. I really like the way his figures look so "chiseled", you know? Especially the hands. I've got several of his books, and they never get old.
