Now this is finally done. It might have needed more work but I grew terminally bored on grinding in more detail.

A link to WIP thread http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=41143

I won't touch this particular painting anymore. However crits and comments are still very welcome.

Awesome! I think the beasts have their work cut out for them but I think they might overthrow the puny humans...if they get lucky. Great work Smile
It's really awesome to see an image go through WIP from start to finish like that. Thanks for posting Very Happy

hey man, this is great! Love the lighting on the main figure. I think the axe could need more contrast and light spots to bring it closer to the viewer and the decapitated body looks to have a hole where his shortened neck should be. Also a few of the soldiers heads to the close left look a bit disconnected to their bodies, perhaps due to one seems to have clothing all up to his jaw and the one behind him has a detailed head but lacks detail in his body.

Otherwise, awesome, probably the best I've seen from you so far.

Sure turned out sweet. Apart from making the axe more visible via highlights on it, I got nothing to say. Well apart from Great Work!

Your light is kind of uniform throughout, which makes it a bit confusing and flat. I'd suggest making a more dynamic light situation. A simple way would be to darken the silhouettes to the left and brighten the sky behind them, and darken the sky behind your monster.

pretty cool piece though it looks unfinished for me because some lacks more deeper values as black. but you're improving much

This is awesome! I really like your work.

Crit:
Earlier, the wall was neat and organised. The lines helped show perspective and the flat planes were a nice contrast with the busy crowd. Now that the wall is mushy I think the image is busier and harder to make out.

Looking forward to your next.
