Hi,
can somebody tell me how to do a good looking haircolor change with Photoshop? For example how to give a black-haired person blonde highlights. The methods i tried so far looking really fake. I guess airbrushing would be the best method, but isnt there some other way, like say...layers n stuff? ( )
I got Photoshop 7.0 if this is important. _________________ quit pro quo |

if the hair is totally black, t he only thing you can do is use another photo of a blond hair person and use layer masks. and do it that way. that is the ONLY way to make it realistic. _________________ |

if it's pure black, I dunno. If it's just some dark color, you might wanna try with making a layer of desired color on top and shape it to match the shape of hair. Then maybe try messing with the color/luminosity blending modes or something to get you going. Man, it's so much easier the other way around |
