Hello
A really huge post with a lot of recent pictures. Hope you don't mind the flood and you'll like the images :
Wizards of the Coast recently released a lot of works I've done for them, especially for Magic : Dissension :
And an overview of some uses of my pictures I'm really proud of 
The cover of the first Hellgate comic-book published by Darkhorse :
It's about the upcoming game "HELLGATE:London" developped by Flaghsip with concept arts by the Massive Black Crew.
It was funny to work on it. It's the cover art of issue 0, done specially for the E3 event.
This is a mini-serie of 6 issues, written by Ian Edginton and drawn by Steve Pugh. I'm also doing the other covers.

I'm adding some new preview pics :
Some other R&D stuff with a more close view of some of my previous speedpaint. As explained below, it came from a discussion with my partner in crime Jean-S�bastien Rossbach about some modern graphic artist and particularly Mathieu. Abstract shapes, repetition of the same pattern, harmony, micro/macro...wow, so much to think about...
There's also some pics of a model I want to sculpt but got no time to do it currently. Inspired by the awesome tutorials and works of Petey Koenig and The Black Frog. I'm a fanboy 
Glad to meet them both in Montr�al and I hope I can steal some of their modeling talent there :p
At the beginning of the year I've produced some full color comic-book pages. It's not equal to my illustration or concept art stuff but I've learned a lot in a really short time. Another step for understanding and working on storytelling :
And another MERLIN preview :
I hope JSR and I will reach our ambitious graphic goals with this book. It seems we're currently OK (hu ??). Because it's not an usual commissionned work, I feel free to try some new things. |
