Really wanted to add a background, but I made some stupid mistakes with the layers and it would take hours of corrections to make it possible at this point. Oh well, so it stays.

I like it's simple rendering and style. Especially the laughing toucan, makes me happy.
One thing that I would've done is either move the stone more out of the frame or completely in it, now with the edge of it nearly at the same position a the frame it looks a bit distracting to me.
As for a background, I'm not sure it would've added anything to the image anyways. Looks good as is now and the focus totally on the twocans. |

I didn't even notice how awkward that rock looked down there, thanks for pointing that out. I updated the image above, I think it looks much better now. Thanks a lot for the comments, as always very much appreciated. |

haha I like it. The thin rendering style goes very good with content, I'm sure the birds are a little faded as well. Wish i was partying with them _________________ www.synestheticstudios.com |

I'd think it would be pretty simple to seperate the birds from your background though....

yeh u could probably just merge the layers then cut the birds out, paste them onto another layer, then on the base layer paint your bg. It wouldnt take that long but as it is i think its great and it really doesnt need a bg. _________________ -Chase |

Thanks everyone for the comments
Trichomes: Haha thanks man. Who wouldnt want to party with toucans?
Dekard: I could cut them from the background, but I would have to be painfully precise to keep the thin linework intact. Unless there's another way?
Cw: It definitely could be done but I would have to be so precise and accurate that it's really not worth the effort to me. Glad you like it as it is, though, Id rather not try to cut them out. |

I would say use the Magic Wand tool and try some settings until you find what works best. Since the background is so very unicolor it shouldn't be a problem at all if you set the tolerance really low. |
