These are book interior illustrations from a couple of different games - D&D and a futuristic d20 game thing. The first one is a cover illustration from one of their dungeon pamphlet things. I thought I would post some art since I haven't really done that in a while...

Great stuff Francis. I really dig that guy with the club.
Nice rendering on the giant robot and the aircraft.
Cool poses and movement in that last one. |

Nice work, the 4th was done for the Eberron setting if I remember it correctly? My favorites are the 3rd and last one. They give off the best feel to me rendering wise. |

These are very nice. I particularly like the guy with the club and cobra, though his face looks almost a little too human for his physique. It seems like he almost ought to be more brutish. I like how he seems to belong in that particular background.
The little bomber/figher ship looks delicious. I love the way the rockets are loaded in. Almost like a clip being put into a gun (that flies!).
I'm not too fond of the first illustration, the spikes just look a little unnecessary in places. IMHO either go for the porcupine-style defensive body type, or place fewer spikes on places where you could expect great linear velocities for offensive use (extremities of limbs). _________________ It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice - Scooter |
