Interesting piece. I like the bug itself quite much. The part of the bridge that connects to the ground could use some more connecting in my opinion. Also I�m not the biggest fan of the shading of the mushrooms hat. Probably due to the fact that the brush spacing option shows too much.
What I'd really like to know though is, what is the ball on the string?  |

Totally agree on both points. Unfortunately I forgot to amend the bridge and haven't yet fixed it. Nevertheless here's what it looks like now

its too washed out with brightness. It seems on the 2nd piece you messed around with color correction, brightness with some filters to get an effect which isnt necessarily bad but could be a crutch in your work much later.
Creating better lighting would save this piece. I imagine a night time scene with the mushroom being the lightsource. |

i have to say that i prefer the first version a LOT more... the second just looks kind of washed out and overdone...  |
