I've pulled this down to do some tinkering, but Alias has yet to send me a reg key for the install (2 days out now). Anybody had this problem? Anybody have a reg key I can use?
-- EDIT --
Disregard - key just arrived. Guess I should learn to be patient. _________________ - Tom Carter

Ok new question: can a project from the PLE be opened in the full retail version and rendered without the PLE watermark? I have a project that I've discovered Maya is perfect for, but it's a one time non-commercial thing, and I don't think it warrants the big spend for the full version. _________________ - Tom Carter

Make a test project and send it to me. I'll let you know if it works. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

I dont blame you. I only upgrade Lightwave after I've made some money with it. |

will do Brian and thanks.
I've been trying to recreate a WWII scenario diagram using an isometric display, but creating a tree line and such in Max, Bryce is so time consuming. Then I discovered the Painting effect for Maya - wowsers - really simplifies things tremendously (and brings the app to a crawl ). Works great. _________________ - Tom Carter
