Hello all. I have been enjoying the speedpainting thread for ages, but have never posted anything myself.

This is not a painting, as you could guess from the topic, but a set of 3D models created for a finnish magazine. If you visit CGtalk (of course you do) I have already posted this there.

Each head took me approx 6 hours or less to create from scratch.

Applications used: Lightwave, Zbrush & Photoshop

Wireframe

Thank you for looking!

Hello Juzz,

okay so you got these done. I saw some work-in-progress earlier. Impressive I must admit, I can barely take a crap in six hours hehehe. The audience might be smaller here, but I'm sure fellow paint guys can appreciate 3d this tight.

C U around:)

Very nice!
Its good to see some 3d that is not cyborgs or robots or plastic girls.
Are these Finnish politicians by any chance? I think I recognise the guy on the top right...

Nah, they are not politicians, so it is just a coincidence. They are just ordinary people who were interviewed for the magazine.

They'd make great chess pieces, great work! I really like the mixture of soft and sharp edges, makes it look realistic..
