nice details as usual eyewoo...
2 things disturb me:
the trees looks a bit too slappy
not enough alternation in composition _________________ *

I'm really liking your current work that you've been posting eyewoo. It's really great stuff. One thing that I have to say about this piece is that it looks a little weird that they're all on snow yet there are no trails being made from the skiers. I understand this is probably a piece for a childrens publication and that type of detail is not totally necessary. It's still a nice one. |

Kids like making marks in the snow, so maybe that should be in it for that reason. It'll make the picture a bit more busy/playfull as well.
I agree on the trees, they look a bit strange... quickly done... and small.
Although scale isn't a big issue, I think they could use some work.
Apart from that, I like it. |

hi. Can you put some clumps of snow in there? I love the whimsy of it but at first i thought they were on ice or really *really* flat snow
I also agree with the remarks about the snow trails. That's 50% of the fun of skiing! Making those really cool "wooshes" when you come down to the end.
THANKS
BTW. I like that guy in the first pic...left hand lying down on the ground. That reminds me of me making a 'snow' angel. _________________ ***********************************

i can understand why there aren't any snow trails - the picture would become too cluttered..
tho' prehaps a trail fading away from the ski, board might work?
nice work again phil |
