i found a thread about a guy talking about 'paint along with fred' and he posted he attempt to the exercice, but i didn't found the exercice wich is supposed to teach how to shade a cube.

Any help to find it ?

by the way, any help on or tools about finding how to shade a plane in different angle of light.
i know hat a plane is supposed to be lit evenly with no change but in some case i see some difference in a plane supposed to be ... a plane !!!

in loomis's books he called it accent (on cylinder) he shaded the core shadow on cylinder not like a band but the top part of the band darker.

help please !
