Here are some Captain Hook concepts for an upcoming Peter Pan game. Basically its a darker interpretation of the original Peter Pan story, much like what was done with American McGee's Alice. The idea with these Hook concepts, was to make him a bit more disturbing and demonic that earlier interpretations. I clearly missed the mark, basically, I need to explore more outlandish ideas; it has been said that he should feel more like the King of the Coke Heads, or Master of the Meth feinds. I'm going to do more research, but for now, here are a few images.

I think those look awesome... but not disturbing. He looks like ol capt' hook SHOULD look like, not how he would look like if he was all F@#$ked up and creepy if he were to be in an American McGee game...

what if you were to modernize him a little bit? instead of a plume hat maybe a beanie LOL.. that'd be scary SKATER HOOK lol

The first one is the most creepy out of the 3.

When I was thinking of a freaky/scary captain hook, the first thought that came to my mind was the captain of the black pearl.



maybe a cross between the 1st image and this one might give some direction? I don't know, just an idea...

I love the hook hand in the first one, that part looks quite creepy to me.

Be sure to keep us updated with the more strange versions you�ll do in the future, I find this very interesting.

I love the hair and mustache in the second and third ones. My personal thoughts are that you should avoid the whole zombie pirate look, theyve just been to overdone recently and don't make much of an impact anymore. I think you should take the whole dandy gentleman type thing and really play around and exaggerate with that, give him that super oily and elequently civilized persona exaggerated to grotesque proportions, complete with a few disturbing fetishes. No zombie could ever compete with the creepiness of those baroque aristocrat types in my opinion. It looks like your kinda on this track already.

yeah I like Heyoos suggestion. I think they're all awesome, but the 3rd I like the best. The hair does it for me I guess.
