i havent posted on this board for years...or done any paintings
its good to be back

this took about 2 hours, from reference
i posted 2 versions w/ brightness/contrast adjusted, couldn't choose between the two

crits/comments?

Looks cool.

But I would say the first one is better, definetely darker looks greater than the lighter one. Maybe you can lighten the first one a bit more, not much just a little bit...and then it will be even better, nicely done.
