There is no doubt that some of you be in museum and take close-up.

I will VERY Appreciate if you can help in this. Smile

I see only once in one museum but they not agree to make a picture Sad

Ben, how are you searching?
I typed in bouguereau, and got 78 hits on www.dogpile.com, 281 hits from Grokker2 (a search engine software app), and 347,000 hits from Google.com (which is why I always use a concise search engine like Dogpile instead).

A LARGE majority of these sites offer close ups of Bouguereau's works, some even offering Hi-Res Downloads for further study.

I think you need to put a little more effort into your searching. But, to help you out a little, here's a decent resolution image I found on one of the sites I mentioned above to get you started...

painting is in museum at Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana. Really low light, handheld, but better than nothing.

I did download all the stuff with bouguereau from artrenewal last year and some of those close-ups are pretty good and u can even zoom them a bit further aswell.
One of my favorites from him is the Dante_et_Virgile_au_Enfers painting and that Nymphes_et_satyre painting, me really like the way he added some small dots to gain some effects with the color. I've seen Nerdrum do this aswell when painting.
Snif and cough, wish I could see some bouguereau in real-life some time.

Beneath here is a part of one of those artrenewal close-ups, maybe u need closer?
this will only be up for a little while since I don't have an own server anymore such poor sucker I am, go for that link jfrancis posted to find the whole piece called: Les_noisettes.
