Hello guys.

I wanna start a Drawing thread and I wanna know if there are guys interested in this, and, I mean on a daily basis just like the speedy but with drawings instead. Would anyone be interested in daily basis drawing?
At first I thought about only to go with the topic material and the rendering of different materials but would this be too limited? Maybe all kinds of drawings allowed? or limited stuff?

Arrow let me know what u think
see you

i think the speed/life reference threads are enough to cover all kinds of drawing, digital or traditional... altho i dont really post that often. i do sometimes wish there was a lil more forum support for traditional stuff.. i know it's a digital site and all...

I think that's a great idea, Matthew.

The life drawing thread is very consistently a 'figure drawing thread', so I'd say let's keep it this way, and post non-figure drawings somewhere else.

I dont know what you mean with 'topic material' and 'rendering different materials'.

A "daily sketch" thread then ?

I like the idea, I'd probably end up contributing once a week or so.

I'd like it to be a similar format to the speedpainting thread: no pressure, low maintenace, no topics or limitations (except the drawing one obviously). Just a place to put drawings that you are reasonable proud of but don't rate a thread of their own. I don't think it needs any more structure than that.

That would be a wicked idea! Maybe like a vaule shadow and shpae study, or just plan sketches and control over lines simple lines but you get alot emotion into or some thing....

The pencil only rule seems a bit strange and arbitary. No ink allowed?

Yeah I was wondering if I could sketch on the tablet using digital pencils Smile Maybe we should just call it 'drawing' thread?
