Still much work to do on my little concept art pal here, he needs render details and much sharpening (plus a right arm and leg). In the end he'll need some contrast work as well, (seems I keep it too dark in my studio).

Looking good, the top half is nice and you seemed to have worked out the structure of the robot well in your head, tho i cant understand the orientation of the shin/foot and how the lower leg is powered, seems to fragile.
Could be fantastic with some hard edges, slighty more defined structure and more contrast as you said. |

Had a little more time for my fortune telling robot tonight. This will turn out to be a material and related texture study I'm thinking.
