Jamez the Giant Hamster and I occasionally engage in what can only be considered a battle du lens. It is always impromptu and never expected, as to avoid any prior preparation. We both agree on a theme to be incorporated into our photos. We then give ourselves a strictly adhered-to amount of time to go out and flesh out that theme with as many quality non-snapshot photos as possible (think Iron Chef with a camera). Post-production Photoshopping is put to personal preference. I use a Canon Powershot A80. Jamez uses the Digital Elph equivalent. We use the exact same camera, basically.

Without further pomp and circumstance, I present to you A BATTLE!

That's awsome having battles like that. Sounds like alot of fun. Your pics are really nice, and i can just imagine being a bug and seeing things like that on my way to, well, to wherever bugs go.
