hi all. here's a few works I've done lately, the paintings are from photoref (obviously), concept art isnt, more than that I posed for a few of them.. that said, I also must say that this forum is the best I know, so many talented people. Im truly humbled.

You know, it's hard to reply to a big group of pictures that vary immensely. People might feel obligated to critique every single picture, a task that could take two hours. If you critique only one, the artist might get the impression that the rest aren't up to snuff, or that they're all great except for that one. Next time, don't just post a big ART DUMP and expect accolades to roll in. Give us some time to absorb each picture; space them out so we can properly critique them.

Really, I can't think of any great critiques to give for these, except maybe don't make your brush strokes so obvious. But then, this doesn't apply to every picture. (You see why art dumps are such a problem for people to reply to?) Some of these look obvious that they are done from photo reference, because there isn't enough detail in the shadows (like the portrait of the Spanish girl).

Why I personally haven't replied is because I didn't really feel I had anything to give constructive crits on.
And sometimes you just don't feel like praising other peoples art, due to the great amout of art beeing posted here.

Ah, thanks alot for your feedback. Here's me who thought that the more pics I could post the more input I'd get, so I learned from it. The bolts on the shoulder I guess is a rather stupid design, I dont know what they would do really.. and where my brush strokes are obvious I believe it was what I was aiming for, to get a more painterly feel. But maybe it didn't work out. Anyways, thanks for your comments, I really appreciate it.
