Tornados are pretty common here in the states; some of y'all across the pond might find these interesting. As many times as I've seem twisters on TV (and once as a youngster - saw a funnel cloud forming but didn't stick around to watch anymore than that), these are amazing:

sweet... i just got back from a 5 hr drive around texas, watching storms all around us... simply amazing watching totally different clouds change and evolve around eachother (stormy clouds in one layer of atmosphere, quiet soft clouds in another, etc...)

wow, pretty amazing, some of the later ones are soo surreal, the shapes of the clouds and the contrast is stunnning...
