third in a series of four posters for a theme park client:

The initial character sketch was done by Jose Saenz:

Hasn't been approved, so there may be changes yet. I think it turned out pretty well, considering I've been sick as dog the whole time I've been working on it. The pure black background wouldn't be my personal choice, but it's something they wanted.

Yes this is VERY cool.. I have a small crit though. The boat , I would either make it smaller so that is doesnt feel like your trying to fit it into the image.. Or push it back into the distance...

Yummy! at first i thought it was a bit hard to read, i was expecting to see a face somewhere. but you've done the light so nice, and the colors are great!

EXCELLENT WORK.
The characters are great, very solid animated style.
The colors on all of them, Great (I especially like that headless horesman one)

My one crit...on the pirate one it does look like the boat is fit on to the image.
(There's a Ship in the Peter pan one that works great...it's that whole bumping something up to the edge thing...flattens it out a bit) I would either slightly increase the ship so that it's more like the one in the Pan image or decrease it's size slightly so that the edge of the flag is not lined up with the edge of the image....unless there will be some cropping--then this scrit might be irrelevent.

Great stuff balistic! I've said it before and I'll say it again... You and Jose make a great team.

I love the boat you added in the first pic. The lighting in that second pic is crazy good and I LOVE how you rendered the smoke.

Yep', the pumkin is really great !

My only crit' would be the readability of the pirate's face. I have a hard time telling if he's looking at the moon or at his raised hand.

I guess that's because this kind of hat usually is represented in the sens of width (well I guess).

'Wonder if another shape of ear would help, a more human ear with light on it... Not sure...

Exept that, it's really cool.
