I checked it out, and it's really cool. I have to check your site again, lots of good stuff.
I dunno how you could or should improve this tutorial, I think it's good the way it is. Keep up!! |

You could always make one (or add to this one) about why you make the
choices you make, why that specific colour (/saturation/etc) and similar.
Very nice apple anyhow. |

Go have a look: Painting Light And Shadow Tutorial
Let me know if it's any good, I feel like I've covered this ground before... Any thoughts and ideas on how to improve this one would be awesome. Anyone? ...Jin?

I barely saw "....Jin?" down there in the corner.
Just read your tutorian, Mon and all I can say is:
It's clean.
Easy to read.
You're there talking to us and that helps hold our attention and interest.
You've included more than the usual tips for an apple tutorial. Some I've seen, while visually pleasing, emit the essence of bored writer. Yours feels like you're as interested and earnest about teaching as we are about learning.
Didn't spot any typos or grammatical errors. It flows nicely.
It's a good tutorial. Please let us know when it's ready for public consumption.
Thanks for letting us take a peek.

thanks a lot folks!
drunken_muse - that's a good idea, but very difficult for me.. I just don't know all that much about color to be able to say anything intelligent about it. Maybe one day
and oh yeah here it is: * (nice work!)
Jin - thanks! I've put it up there on the site now. many thanks for taking your time to read it through. The Guts-image loads for me, it might have been a temporary glitch with the server or something... If anyone has any problems with that one please let me know! _________________ www.mattiassnygg.com

Wooo, excellent. This is the kind of style i like and a tutorial on it is awesome!!
btw the tutorial is really good. Will have a go at it. Only suggestions I could make is if you included a photograph of the apple you were drawing. And maybe the actual photoshop file. Though they are just extras. All the information anyone needs is there I think. |

Hey thanks!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. As for including a photo, well, most people have access to apples, right?
