nice environment, i like the monochromatic color scheme you used. some areas aren't quite as distinct as others, like i think the upper half of the foreground tree could use a little more development. Pretty good job though, i really like the silouhetted trees in the background.

When I first looked at this it was wider than my browser so I only saw the left 2/3. I was very impressed. After scrolling to the right a bit to see the whole thing I felt the composition is a little wrong though - the right of the picture is awfully empty. Maybe putting some other detailed object in the water or on the grass there would help it. Very nice tree forms in the back though!

nice work. You did a very good job of capturing the atmosphere and mood. The trees in the bg are handled really well. I do agree that the composition could be improved on a bit, but still a nice piece.

thanks for the commentys guys....u know i struggle with composition almost daily...sometimes i feel like i just dont get it.i love the impressionist compositions though, big empty foregrounds or abstracted centers of interest.i also love the design sense of japanese prints(almost a pre requesite of being a tattooer it seems)and they tend to have everything bunched at one side...so i guess i come bhy it that way.anyway any compositional suggestions are appreciated ,thanks guys
