3d things are actually avatars for an online virtual world game called secondlife, (.com), where you actually build them with 3d and texture them and everything through the game's built-in tools.

everything aside from yourself is made by players and stuff (buildings, games, everything) you can use the game's own script engine, and make particle effects and everything to go nuts. own a peice of land and build anything your hearts content on it! anyways:
