A teacher asked my class this... just wondering what you all would choose.

Would you want to be beautiful?
Or would you want to be smart?
And why and why not?

I know it might be stupid to ask, but really do people get the jobs because they can do it right or because they look good there? Do you get popular because you're a book nerd with all A's or because you have the "in" brand clothes and look good in them?
Yeah there are those that get both...

my average is about 70% (maybe like 73%), i'm not really 'popular' but i got plenty of friends... as well as a couple of enemies (one so far... ehe)
so I guess i'm pretty average...
and no i wouldn't want to be smarter in any way, or more beuatiful.... the perfect person, is the average person, since any advantage has it's disadventage, and since i aint got no adventages or disadventages as being right there in the middle hehe

here is my opinion you can have both but one will interfere with the other....

why you ask?

Well from kindergarden to 8th grade I was a nobody. None of the girls liked me. I had but one friend most of the time. And I had perfect grades nothing lower than a 90 on a scale of 1-100. Then I entered High School, I had a cousin who was the most popular guy at this high school. when i was a fresh man he was a junior. Usually freshmen get made fun of but not me I was respected, people liked me, everybody wanted to be my friend, girls where all up on my sack,i was feared... but guess what all of this distracted me from paying attention in class when i went to class...freshman year i ended up with 2.5 credits in total for both semesters...

When my cousin left i was going to be a Junior. I said fuck this popularity shit i got to graduate. So I went to class still did not pay attention because i still had my mind on them girls. I decided to become a loner. I hid from people. I became what i was before. but since i was already known girls where still sweating me. i used to be a pimp an now i look like shit. but i can cleam my self up get a hair cut get away from the computer for a while and i can be the popular xyz again.

Nobody is Ugly all you need to do is if your a guy get a hair cut put on some slacks a nice shirt and brush your teeth...If you are a girl put on some make up and a dress and brush your teeth and there you go its just a matter of how you present your self...

I have no idea why i posted the above...

I would want to be smart...
with the smart i could find a way to make my self or make people thing i am beautiful...

Well I've never wanted to be popular, because I don't like most people and I'm pretty smart so....

It all depends on what the job is! Most of us artsy or creative people are wierd and stay to ourselves. Well I do anyways! As for jobs, if the person is going to be in the public eye daily, looks often matter! I mean who'd want some ugly fuck, waiting tables or working as a secretary? heheheh! But jobs like artist or CAD doesn't really go that route, you could be a handsome whatever or a moose cookie! As long as you perform!

To the point- All males are ugly in my opinion, including myself! Some more than others ofcourse! HEHEHEH! But if had to pick I'd say smart! Because the smarter you are the more money you could make! And you'll be popular regardless because of your money, and you'd be smart enough to use those people before they relize that they were trying to use you!

Well I myself am a "A" student had colleges scouting me before 2nd semester my freshman year. I'm the editorial cartoonist and graphic designer for both my school's newpaper and yearbook, I don't wear much name brand clothes just what feels comfortable. I'm not cute, but more like beautiful... that's what peeps tell me... My boyfriend, for 3 years, is a computer specialist... I think that's still his title... not the hotest guy. Haven't had a best friend since 4 grade when my b/f got shot and killed... been a loner ever since, not saying I don't have friends just won't let anyone close enough to be my best friend excluding my b/f of course.

Anyways my mother started working in a place where a lot of my classmates work or go into... they all know me and are like "yeah she's my best friend". Didn't know people noticed I existed or even would say they knew me... I always thought of myself as the person peeps came to when the needed someone to depend on to get something fishished, liston to them, or help them understand something... So I guess in a way I wouldn't want to be popular, but more well liked and known... but I would rather be smart... you get money and pay to have something done to those looks!
