Hello everybody!
Im starting this thread hoping to get some answers to some of my many questions regarding matte-painting. I would like to read about your methods and how YOU aproach a matte-painting. What are the techniques? What are the important things one must consider before and while painting? Maybe you know some resource out there on the web where i can read about it? (it's hard to find) My interest in this area is growing and I really do want to know everything about it =)...
PLZ do discuss this mater here and do not hesitate to add to the thread by posting your own questions about matte painting.

Examples of Mattepaintings for various films, comercials... http://www.matteworld.com/
Those guys show their progress steps too: HatchFX recommended!!!
