I'm working on a new website and this is the design that has been most liked so I have a number of versions and would like to see which one people like best. Also if you want to critique the whole logo design feel free, the more input the better.

Love the design.
I like the one in the bottom right corner most.
I guess because I can't figure out what the black thing is.
I like the most detailed pencil thingie ... the value seems darker.
It doesn't jump at the viewer like the brighter ones.
I just think it would look better if it wasn't that centered in the circle.
If possible try to move the circle to the left a little more. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

what I learn in class:
- think of what you 'want to express' with your logo
- brainstorm with a few idea's (for example that aim thingy, or a couple of troopers (example of troopers http://www.vredesaktiekamp.nl/akties/akties1999/soldier2.gif )
- (quick) skecth a few ideas you have in mind
- try to keep your logo as clear as possible. Fancy stuff is nice, but it's got to be clear. People don't want to guess.
- try to keep your text as clean as possible (alignment, space between letters etc.)
what could be handy:
- look for other logo's / styles witch you like and perhaps apply them to yours
- make a 'brainstorm-scheme'
i am no expert at this, I am just a student. There are probably other and better ways to create a logo, but for me it works
good luck |

Thanks for the reply guys. The circle is actually supposed to be a scope, the black thing is an old riffle style sight, and the I is a bullet but i got feedback from a couple of people that it looked like a pen. I updated the image with another color. I truely don't mind if people think it's a pen or a bullet but i might touch it up. As far as the scope some people see it right away and others don't. I'm still trying to think of a way to suggest it's a scope. The newer aim sights don't look as well in the design. _________________ Psychon |

I could tell that it was a scope, but it did take a second for me to think it through. If you want to make it look more like a scope, perhapes use a target symbol with the cross-hairs. Just an idea. _________________ Her eyes were cold and harsh....which made them hard to chew. |
