Hi everyone. This was something I did for an art test for a game company wanting background artists. It was supposed to be a little cartoonish and the goal was to match the other artists' styles. They wrote me back feeling awful they never mentioned the position was not open to those outside of Europe. I would have moved in a heartbeat. At least I got something new for my portfolio out of it.

o man, that really sucks! (not ur work, the fact that its not open to peeps outside europe). what sucks the most is that i'll bet that they would have used that! Cuz that looks really nice, man. i can definatly see that as a bg in a game! gj _________________ -Chase |

so where was this so I go steal some
love the cartoon yet realistic look of it. I'd add sprim reflection somewhere, maybe on the ground so give the effect of light opening up through the diamonds. Otherwise really impressive. _________________ Chaplin |

I'd also say it needs more lighting, especially the crystal in the foreground, right |

Imagine that the cave is totally black. Now add the light from the entrance and the light from the crystals. The background should still be bright like it is but the foreground should be darker. |
