hi! i found out about this forum through my brother...and now i've become a member myself 
about the drawing...i got the inspiration from some pic in a magazine a really (really) long time ago, but only managed to do head and one hand. i recently rediscovered it while moving, and decided to finish it. i'd like to color it in at some point, and i'd appreciate any ideas you guys might have..

Very good design and the simplicity is a definite bonus as bishop said. There are only two things I would do to make it better and those are:
1) get rid of that bulbous thing at the end of the tail.
2)fill in the round things at the joints with some sort of mechanical design or at least add another circle inside to give it more form.
